Steve Berra - WeActivist

Founder of The Berrics , Steve Berra is based in Los Feliz, and a vocal campaigner for skaters’ rights. Alongside Eric Koston he owns The Berrics skate park and was a founder of Birdhouse skateboards in the early 90’s with Tony Hawk, Willy Santos and Jeremy Klein. Having enjoyed a period as an acclaimed actor, in movies such as The Good Life (starring Zooey Deschanel), Berra holds the prestige of being the only pro-skateboarder to have directed a film featured at the Sundance Film Festival. But ultimately skating was his true love so he turned his back on everything to return to the art of honest boarding, with no hype.
