It was halfway through March and there were 2 cities in North America with snow and rails. Québec, being the closest of the two, measured in at only 2,380 miles away...a mellow 38 hour drive from our then location of Salt Lake City. Half of our crew was too strapped for cash to pay for a plane ticket and all of us needed more shots for our video parts, so we decided to put our heads down and start driving for 2 days.

I recently went on a trip to Japan with the Think Thank crew to film for our new video, Mind the Video Man. It was my first time in Japan, so I took hundreds of photos. Japan is amazing and I can't wait to go back. It is super hard to ween the photos down to a select few so I am going to break em up into a few blog posts. Here is the first round!

There wasn't much going on in Utah, so a couple of friends and I decided to pack up and head to Summit at Snoqualmie for Krush Kulesza's Tube City event. It was a long drive but our driver, Tucker Andrews, was prepared with some pretty insane early 90's presets on his satellite radio.

Winter has not been winter this winter. Utah has minimal snow and its more like spring or summer in Lake Tahoe. Luckily, there are places in the world with snow...they're just far from home. Here are some photos from our first filming trip of the season to Michigan.

No politics here, just the good ol' boys making fires, drinking coffee, cooking meat, talking about girls, the occasional dizzy stick, and snowboarding. Raw snowboarding. Just how it should be. Snowboarding is alive and well at the Bone Zone. -Cory Grove
