WeSC is currently recruiting for an Accountant position based at the WeSC Inc office in New York, New York. Joining at an exciting time within the company’s history this role is a pivotal one to this growing business. In this position you will be responsible for managing the day to day accounting and besides working directly with the US organization, you will also work closely with Controller and Chief Financial Accountant at WeSC HQ in Sweden.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. All current recording in Quick Books
2. Monthly and quarterly closing
3. Work with CPA for end of year
4. Manage Accounts Receivable Dept. and Accounts Payables
5. 1099 1096 reporting and preparation
6. Keep accurate up-to-date checking account balance for multiple accounts
7. Bank Reconciliation for all bank accounts
8. Reconcile Monthly Bank Statements
9. Online filings sale tax returns
10.Payroll & HR duties.
11.HR duties
12.Ensure staff members understand and apply company & statutory procedures
Daily duties include heavy phone activity and computer use, as well as filing and faxing of customer invoices and information. Daily accuracy of work is necessary for inventory control and accountability.

EXPERIENCE
• 2-5 years of related experience.
• Experience within the action sports/apparel segment is beneficial.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to communicate
effectively with all levels within the Company
• Ability to handle detailed, complex concepts and problems
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem solving skills
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment where change is commonplace
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office programs and Quickbooks

- Account Receivable Specialist


WeSC is currently recruiting for an Accounts Receivable Specialist position based at the WeSC Inc office in New York, New York. Joining at an exciting time within the company’s history this role is a pivotal one to this growing business. This position is responsible for the preparation and creation of customer invoices and all related Accounts Receivable activity. This position will have regular contact with the Logistics and Accounting departments along with direct contact with customers, as well as reporting to WeSC HQ in Sweden.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Prepare and generate invoices, credit memos and other miscellaneous invoices as necessary.
2. Maintains Account Receivable reports and files.
3. Reviews and monitors customer Account Receivable balances. Contacts customers regarding unpaid balances to determine collection status.
4. Responsible for RA’s
5. Support Sales team on billing related matters
6. Continuously monitoring high-risk accounts and taking action where necessary
7. Completes and assists with special projects and other duties as assigned.
8. Working with CIT/Factor invoice assignments and research credit scores for potential new accounts.
