USA A Full-Serving Helping Hand for Haiti
...Sealed with a heartfelt kiss from lady Tigra.
Thanks to everyone that came out to last Thursday's benefit for Haiti, at Boulevard 3, in Hollywood. We couldn't be more excited to tell everyone that our efforts paid off in a major way. And- just like they say it does- lending a helping hand is a most excellent reward.
The WeSC silent auction- which was jam packed with amazing art, gift-certificates, speciality items and even week-end getaways- raised just over (drum roll please) 10k USD, which we are proud to donate directly to Partners in Health- Fund for Haiti.
Pieces from Stash, Jason Lee, Mercedes Helnwein, Alex Prager, & Chad Robertson, filled the room, alongside giant gift baskets from Complex and Nylon Magazine, gift-certificates from our friends at Ted Baker, Rock & Republic, Fred Segal, Burton, Bouchon and so, so much more!!
We saw celebs & stars, we heard music and we made magic, when magic is needed most!
Thanks so much to all of our wonderful WeActivists and friends that contributed their beautiful work, time and energy to do something wonderful, and an extra big ups to Sal Masekela, Common and of course, the most lovely and amazing (Haitian we should ad) WeActivist Lady Tigra, who not only preformed, but helped to produce this fantastic evening on behalf of her brothers and sisters, friends and family in Haiti.
With Love.
