Boardertown is East Auckland's premier snowboard, skateboard and wakeboard retailer. Through a strong consumer focus, Boardertown has developed into a leading supplier of all major snow, skate and wake brands and there associated products. Focused on impacting the community, Boardertown is involved in a wide range of activities including event organisation, community activities and working with local schools
Boardertown commenced trading on 10th July 2004 with a very basic fit out and limited stock in the Centrepoint Mall, just off the main st in Howick. It has slowly built up its stock levels, credibitly and customer base. The company has been through four major break-ins as well as countless difficulties with a mall that is now in desperate need for redevlopment.
With Boardertown continuing to grow and the Centrepoint mall continue to deterioate the company began a search for new premises. After much debate and forward thinking the company decided on Botany Town Centre as the position with the most potential for the company to continue its expansion. A lease was signed for 160sqm space in October 2006.
Boardertown has gone from strength to strength since its move!

Base Wanaka
Dunmore St
9305 WanakaNew Zealand
Back in 1999, BASE founders, Brent & Chris settled in Wanaka after many seasons chasing fat pow in resorts across the globe. They turned their passion for skiing and snowboarding into their first business, Base, right in town.
The shop opened up and specialised in streetwear, ski & snowboard outerwear and hardware. A small ski and snowboard rental unit, operated out the back. And the workshop operated out of the garage under the art centre.
And the small BASE crew of 8 went to work, doing everything in their power to make the shop a leader within the snow community.
In 2005, Base entered the online market: now we were able to hook up skiers and snowboarders from all over NZ, and provide rental gear for holiday makers, globally.
Flash forward to present day and Base is still holding true to its roots, online and in store.
Our goal is for you to get the most out of your riding every day. Go well. Live large

Good as Gold
Victoria St
6011 WellingtonNew Zealand
Good As Gold opened on Sept 11th 2004 on Victoria Street Wellington. A small shop tucked away off the main shopping routes. G.A.G. broke new ground in the Wellington fruit and vege-mart scene by introducing new tropical produce from around the world. However, due to Wellington’s hardy climate and its inhabitants love for carbohydrate’s and coffee, Ruben (the owner) realised he did’nt have a shit-show at peddling produce, so he began selling a few clothes for both men and women.
Other products were matched with the apparel, such as designer toys and accessories that would not usually be found in a clothes shop. It introduced to the city a sense of the "street boutique" that was already established in cities like New York, Paris, Tokyo, Copenhagen, Berlin, Melbourne and Vancouver. A place where a new generation of youths, young professionals but also mums and dads could come and get something "special" but also feel comfortable in the environment of a relaxed stylised space.
Over the years G.A.G has also played host to many art/photo exhibitions, parties and top secret meetings. It is home to Buster the Bulldog who you will meet in this site. The shop has a front stoop where people hang out and watch the world go by and leave their empty drink vessels. Meanwhile, Ruben one day hopes Global Warming will kick in and Wellington will become a tropical metropolis where he can finally fulfill his dream of selling Papayas…
