Biography

Since 2003, Eva Padberg and Niklas Worgt release their tracks as Dapayk & Padberg on their label Mo’s Ferry Prod. The first album “close up” caused a little sensation, because both hit the scene with a total new spectacular sound: lascivious-velvet-raw voice meets cool-harsh-plastic beats. The album reached the years top-10 charts of the magazines Groove, De-bug and Raveline as well as bringing Niklas a Top-10 spot in the producer charts. The second Dapayk&Padberg Album followed in fall 2007. Both longplayer got much respect from the press and the dancefloors. They also received the "Style Award - Best Domestic Performer" by German music mag "Musikexpress".

As Live Act they play unique recognisable rocking sets from Berlin via Moscow to Tokyo. Dapayk at the controls and Padberg behind the mic guaranty a burning dance floor. In 2009 their track sugar was released on Mo's Ferry's sub label Fenou and became the next hit and worldwide chart toper like the Noze rmx of "island (feat. Caro)" did. The collaboration in the studio has not changed since then. Both write lyrics alone or together and tinker on the sounds. Dapayk and Padberg's sound is complex and ranges from minimal electronica to rave techno, borrowing ideas from break beat, hip hop and pop.
