Biography
Hi, I'm Marek Peszynski.
I am Polish/New Zealander born in Auckland but have been living in Wellington for around 14 years after numerous stints in LDN/EUROPE/LA. I have now settled with my fiance Rose and our 2 beautiful maniacal boys toddler extreme Mikolaj & fresh baby Charlie-Milo.
Dj/Promoter activism is my thing under the name DJ MAREK/MAZDEF Productions and I have been lucky enough to work with artists from all over the world including Diplo, Mos Def, Sinden, Roska, Dizzee Rascal, GZA, Rusko, Jack Beats, RZA, Pharoahe Monch, Shy Child, Nas, The Nextmen, Tittsworth, De La Soul, Ladyhawke, The Beatnuts as well a lot of awesome local NZ talent and many others who I really think I shouldn't have shared the stage with.
I am also mildly OCD about be@bricks, Japanese collectibles from various pop artists including Kaws and Pushead, sneakers and vintage hip hop t-shirts/memorabilia.
