Biography
Marvs is a video crew from Munich and currently consists of the two filmmakers Adrian and Thomas. The idea for their project originated in 2007 and was not just about skateboarding itself but also to show the urban atmosphere and the aesthetics of the sport. The focus of the boys is not to get higher, farther and faster, but simply on what makes skating: to have fun with like-minded people, to ride along on trips together and just have a good time. Not to forget that even sweat, scrapes, slams, tantrums and the achievement of their own physical limits belong to skateboarding.
All this is what the Marvs will feature in their clips, to show what it means for them to skate. With so much passion for skateboarding, it is not surprising that the filmmakers do spend a lot of time on the board as well. But you just have to see for yourself….
