Mode 2 Interview for CANAL Street
Interview I did for CANAL Street on November 5th, with subtitles, unless I'm mistaken...
Can't quite figure out how to make a direct link right now, so just copy the url below...
Missed out on VOICES, through my own time mis-management; but hoping to make it into the next edition... :-)

Upon seeing the photos, you might understand why, though of course I am not seeking to offend anybody, or to make a cheap sell. I actually don't know many people "brave" enough to put something like these latest works on show in their homes, but I paint what I feel I want to say, and not what I think will sell.

Back from MOCA...
Hi folks,
Sorry I didn't get a chance to upload any photos on Friday morning, as the first opening of Art In The Streets at the Geffen Contemporary followed up with an after at Paul & Andre, up in Hollywood. The subsequent flow of Sailor Jerry made uploading anything an impossible task the next morning. My only priority was to go and take some shots of the space when it was totally empty, and also catch a "hair of the dog", over at T.O.T., on East 2nd street.

Biography
A lot can be said about Mode 2 and a lot has been said. Still, this will not stop more space being used up in newspapers & magazines, and yet more words and pictures on-line talking about what he may have done, and what he's still contributing to the scene. His illustrations and work, much of it filled with energy and movement, or sometimes of an erotic and sexual nature, are not only a visual feast for the spectator; but also collectable pieces for a great, lucky bunch. Unique...

An interesting pictural art but I do not understand who is the artist ? Who painted these wonderful erotic paintings, please?
Sep 30th 2011, 15:27positive. don't find these pornographic or objectifying at all. more like an honest look at where we all come from, and what a lot of us either have or want to get close to. this is art. and earth without it would just be 'eh'. great stuff mode. you should be proud.
