"The name Bunjii (Bun-gee) implies adrenaline rush, thrill seeker and risk taker. After listening to their daring and edgy CD, it is clear why they chose such an appropriate name to represent their band.

The Bunjii front men consist of Big Yount (lead vocalist & producer) and Mercure (producer & lyricist). Hailing from Willingboro, NJ these friends have come together in harmony to form a new sound that embodies Hip-Hop and Rock Music. Their powerful rock influenced beats coupled with undeniably hard-hitting rap lyrics result in musical perfection. This energetic HipRock Band brings a fresh & new electric perspective that is sorely needed in today's climate. Their new CD comes clean with virtually no samples, giving the listener a creative and unique sound. It is evident that this group has their fingers on the pulse of many different genres of music. You'll experience a hypnotic mixture of electronic keyboards, drum machines and live instruments.

Philly's own 100.3 The Beats Dj Jay Ski joined the band in early 2004, as well as Tre (Drummer), AJ (Bass Guitarist) and Slim (Lead Electric guitarist). Individually, each of Bunjii's members possess incredibly impressive resumes. Together, they've formed an original sound which gives them the leading edge when it comes to creativity and live performance. It's remearkable how they strike and unquestionable balance with each other.
